Step into the immersive realm of Western Australia's wildlife at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, where every corner whispers tales of nature's wonders. In this assignment, I dive into the captivating world of the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, an emblematic creature of the region's diverse ecosystem.
Central to this project is a deep admiration for the intricate patterns adorning both male and female Red-tailed Black Cockatoos. These patterns serve as the cornerstone of my custom-designed imagery, crafted to honour the beauty of these majestic birds.
Drawing inspiration from the vibrant hues of the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, I experimented with spot colours to amplify their striking red tones. Complementing this vivid palette, I opted for a rich, dark purple hue to elevate the black elements, creating a captivating visual contrast.
Through a series of posters and merchandise, the aim was to showcase the allure and splendour of the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, inviting viewers to appreciate its unique charm.
